München feiert 75 Jahre Grundgesetz

A Multimedia Journey Through the History of German Democracy.

As part of the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of Germany’s Basic Law, mammasONica collaborated with Berlin-based multimedia artist Lukas Taido and visual artist Lars Ullrich to create Legis 75,  immersive and impactful event. Held from May 15 to 17, 2024, in the historic setting of Marienplatz in Munich, the installation offered a vivid reflection on Germany’s long path to democracy, exploring the fundamental rights and freedoms we often take for granted today.

Under Lukas Taido’s artistic direction, the event combined music, sound design and live readings, enhancing the narrative with archival audio and video footage.  Legis 75 highlights the significance of the rights and freedoms enshrined in the Basic Law, celebrating democracy and its influence on everyday life.
