SUPERVISION, ARTISTIC LEADING IN PROCESS:
Luca Pulvirenti
PARTICIPANTS:
In 2013, as part of the “Innovation of the JAMU Study Program” project, students of Stage Technology, Scenography, and the new and subsequent master’s program in Lighting Design had the opportunity to attend several workshops with international experts in the field of lighting design, as well as Luca Pulvirenti, who came to Brno from Palermo and introduced the students to a hands-on workshop inquiring into new exploratory ways to create visual content for video performance.
During the workshop, a hands-on, creative approach was emphasized, allowing students to explore the technical and artistic aspects of video projection in a theatrical setting. Through practical sessions and real-world applications, students learned how to utilize media servers and integrate video content into stage design. By the end of the workshop, the participants developed short animations, which they projected onto a building, putting their newly acquired skills into practice and transforming theory into a visual reality.
