LIGHT UP LANCASTER 2019 Castle Courtyard | Lancaster | UK
“In the search for time, planets move in circles, from dusk till dawn;
any difference disappears through the blossom,thus revealing the birth of a new cycle of life.”
Seven moons rise upon the sky, each orbit marking the birth of a new cycle, each trajectory painting different layouts. A sacred geometry unfolds, interconnecting everything with the source.
“Lightscape” embarks on a cosmic odyssey inspired by the rhythmic motion of moon phases, a planetary dance echoing cyclical time. In commemoration of the 50ᵗʰ anniversary of the Moon Landing, the “Light Up Lancaster” festival invites visitors on a journey through celestial elements.

"In all known planetary systems, natural satellites occur in a restricted dynamical phase space: planets orbit stars and moons orbit planets.
it is natural to ask, can moons have their own stable satellites, can a moon have its own submoon? ”
