In an often divided society, Köln serves as a radiant memento that assigns to art and music the urgent task of building a shared, brighter future. The city thus becomes a canvas where the colors of unity, peace, and joy can blend harmoniously. New beginnings are most effective if accompanied by collective change and transformation. As we approach the new year, let’s do so with a focus on our common bonds rather than that which sets us apart.

THE URBAN SPACE
Roncalliplatz is an iconic space for artistic and cultural gatherings in Cologne, hosting several of the city’s most prominent buildings. The projection of “Köln” on the façade of the Germanisches Museum and Dom Hotel sparks a luminous dialogue between these two structures, witnessed by the majestic gothic spires of the Kölner Dom, Cologne’s renowned cathedral.
Shapes and patterns adorn the façade of the Dom, one of the oldest hotels in Europe, orchestrating a dynamic and colorful dance with distant planets rotating gracefully.
The historical heritage of the Roman-Germanic Museum is transfigured in the intricate mosaic flashing before the viewer’s eyes, evoking glories of the past and hopes for the future. Both locations are united by a synergetic force tied to the here and now, emphasising the awareness that only unity can ignite large-scale change.
